TOP BANANA

Having some rather brown bananas to use up, I also baked some banana bread at the weekend, using this recipe from the Times Online. It’s a very simple recipe that is quite hard to get wrong (as proven by my inability to mix the ingredients in the right order) and makes a lovely moist bread that is scrumptious toasted and buttered. I did notice though that the baking time was slightly longer than stated in the recipe so keep an eye out for that – when a skewer comes out clean it is done, which took about 1hr 15m in my case.
